To coincide with this week’s release of PARTYNEXTDOOR’s much-anticipated PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO album, the accommodating remixes continue to come in, as here we showcase a fresh effort from up-and-coming producer, MVSIC. Set to appear on his forthcoming Vibe On This project, arriving next month, MVSIC goes in on track number five from PND TWO, “Belong To The City.” The result is a slightly more electronic-friendly number that keeps the energy going well towards the second half and end of the song. 17th Century Hip Hop Art [Photos]

Amar Stewart began painting Hip Hop inspired work two years ago, creating portraiture using oils. Approximately 18 months later, Stewart says he and his wife visited The Met in London where he was drawn to Dutch masters of the 17th century. His wife nudged him. “You should do this,” she advised. Majid Jordan is the creative collaboration of Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman – a duo that has been buzzing since the release of their unofficial EP afterhours in 2012, which was eventually followed-up by their signing to Drake’s OVO Sound in 2013. Carrying that buzz through to 2014, Majid Jordan has today offered up a fresh release titled “A Place Like This.” Offering a seamless blend of dark and hypnotic melodies with a distinct hip-hop sound, the track was released alongside its accompanying music video which can be viewed above, while the track itself can be streamed below.
